What traditions have you not kept that your parents had?
I gave up the tradition to eat fish instead of meat on Good Friday. For some reason, every year, I’ve always found myself eating a burger that very day. I’ve tried to observe it, but alas, it’s not a tradition that I seem to truly want to keep.

Why would people have to eat fish on that particular day? The Catholic church brought it in for the fast day, but in many countries it was very expensive (and still is.).

Oh that’s interesting. I didn’t know that it was started because of the fast day. I know I still don’t eat much fish because of the cost too.
