No, not ever

Your life without a computer: what does it look like?

I used to work at a construction firm that printed out their drawings or plans instead of keeping them electronically. It was the first time I learned about slip sheeting, and it was quite a hassle. Slip sheeting involves going through a stack of physical drawings and replacing the old page with a newly updated one—picture 12 stack of drawings, 400 sheets each that constantly need to be slip-sheeted. Sometimes, the wrong sheet would be removed. One mistake means a day or week’s worth of reviewing each page to check that the correct drawing was slip-sheeted.  It was a nightmare.
I was happy company transitioned to electronic drawings. This meant that entire PDFs could be replaced, or the software would automatically replace the drawing sheet in the file for us. I was really happy when this change happened.
