From Fizzy Fix to H2-No: Quitting Diet Coke One Sip at a Time

Stream of consciousness Saturday.
The word is drink.
I don’t know why, but my brain directly associates drinks with food.  In terms of drinks, I prefer water or Diet Coke.

I really love Diet Coke—a lot. But I understand that the artificial sweetener is not good for me. So I have been trying to reduce my Diet Coke consumption. I’ve replaced it with more water. I don’t like sweet drinks. I dislike the taste of sugar in most liquids. I don’t know why.
If given a sweet drink, I’ll sip it two or three times and leave the rest.

I would rather drink water. I think this is the only naturally healthy habit I have that’s really easy: drinking unsweetened beverages.

I used to freeze a bottle of water when i was at work, then drink it during the morning (second bottle freezing for the afternoon) as it thawed. very refreshing! Thanks for the follow. Welcome! Feel free to dig around and see if something appeals.

I love ice cold water. I’ll have to try that for work too.

Leave at least an inch at the top of the bottle for expansion.
